BBC 
BBC stands for The British Broadcasting corporation which is a British Public service broadcaster with it's headquarters at Broadcasting House in London. The BBC is owned by the British Public.

The BBC has 5 main channels which are:

  • BBC News 
  • BBC One 
  • BBC Two 
  • BBC Three
  • BBC Four 

Channel 5 
Channel 5 is a British commercial television network which was launched in 1997. It was the fifth national terrestrial analogue network in the United Kingdom BBC One, BBC Two, ITV and Channel 4. Channel 5 is owned by two organisations which are Viacom International Media Networks Europe and Viacom International Media Networks. 


Channel 5 is essentially a general entertainment channel which the audiences can consume for entertainment. It broadcasts both internally commisioned programmes such as Fifth Gear and Big
Brother.
