In this article, it focuses on how the social networking platform "Facebook" doesn't listen in on the real life conversations between the users for advertising purposes. Rob Goldman, the tech giant's vice-president of ads who runs ad products on Facebook has denied that they use microphone for ads purposes. 

Rob Goldman responded to a tweet made by PJ Vogt which he spoke about how Facebook do not use a microphone to listen in on people's conversations on the platform for advertisement purposes. Another tweet was made by a user regarding Instagram which Facebook owns, Rob Goldman replied stating that Instagram do not listen in on the conversations of their users for ad purposes as well.
